Ascender User Conference

Information Systems focuses on the administrative computing needs of client school districts located in West Texas.

Region 18 is a member of the Texas Computer Cooperative, TCC.


The TCC is a cooperative of 19 regional education service centers which market and support administrative software throughout the state of Texas to over 850 school districts and charter schools. With over four decades of public education and software development experience, the Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) offers a comprehensive range of powerful web-based Business and Student administrative applications written specifically for Texas schools.

 

TCC’s ASCENDER software offers a fully integrated solution that streamlines operational needs and simplifies school districts’ reporting requirements. ASCENDER is cloud hosted in a secure AWS Data Center with worry-free data secrity and protection, with disaster recovery daily automatic backups, and supported by trained service technicians.

 

In addition to ASCENDER Business and Student applications, ASCENDER is complemented by a PEIMS and Core Collection component and performs state and federal-mandated extracts, as well as provides a parent/teacher/student-focused mobile device compatible set of applications including:
