Leah Beard is a Leadership Consultant for Region 18 Education Service Center.  Mrs. Beard supports districts and campuses in the planning and implementation of evidence-based best practices through coaching, training, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Region 18, Leah served the communities of Keller ISD, Liberty Christian School (Argyle, TX), and Region 11 ESC (Fort Worth, TX).  With over 20 years of experience ranging from classroom educator to senior cabinet leadership to education consulting, she has been dedicated to the growth and development of all learners through continuous improvement and systems level change management.  Mrs. Beard earned her bachelor’s degree in History from Texas A&M University, her teaching certificate from the University of North Texas, and her master’s degree in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University’s Teachers College.
