Janet Romero is an Information Systems Consultant – Student Services at Region 18 Education Service Center. With a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, she brings a strong technical background paired with a deep understanding of K–12 education.

Prior to her current role, Janet worked for eight years as an elementary and substitute teacher, gaining firsthand classroom experience that now informs her work in student services and data systems. She also has five years of experience as a Business Application Analyst, where she honed her skills in systems analysis, business process improvement, and user support.
