Malina Roux is an Educational Consultant for Special Populations at Region 18 ESC. She provides training and support for educators, paraprofessionals, administrators, and parents of students receiving special education services. Before joining Region 18, Malina served in Ector County ISD & Snyder ISD as a special education teacher and an autism grant coordinator. Malina has earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Texas A&M University.

Caddell, Desiree
DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION - Special Education Support, Legal Framework, Handle with Care Special Education Support

Desiree Caddell serves on the Texas Statewide Leadership for Autism Training (TSLAT) network, the School, Family, & Community Engagement project, and the Legal Framework for the Child-Centered Special Education Process. She provides training and support for educators, paraeducators, administrators, and parents of students receiving special education services. Before joining Region 18 in 2018, Mrs. Caddell was a special education teacher for eight years and an autism support specialist and in-home /parent trainer for four years. Mrs. Caddell holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
